How to check Plastic Card Status

Hi,
We got our Passport stamped earlier this month. Now we are waiting for our plastic cards. Can people who have experience in this share that with us.
Is there any way that we cna keep track of our plastic cards. Can we call Vermont Service Center to know the status of our card.
How long is it taking now to get the plastic cards.
Also can we get new Social Security Card with the passport stamping or do we have to wait for actual plastic cards.
Please share your experiences.

They say it takes 3 - 6 months to receive cards, but generelly people
are getting in two moths. You can call 1-800-375-5283 when you do not receive the cards after 60 days of stamping.
Regarding SS No. you can get with stamping. We did so last week.
