How to check perm Status

Hi All,

Today I got from my attorney that my Perm is filed. She said "there is no method at this time to check status of your case and we will let you know as soon as we get approval". Is this statement is correct. I thought there is a way you can check the status online. Can someone please comment on that.

Hi, it depends if the attorney filed by mail or online. with the online method you can see the status, but with the use of mail there is no way.

My attorney said they filed it online. Is there any number which I should ask her to give me. If i have that number where should i go to check the status.

Your employer has an online account with DOL. So if your HR rep gives you access into "the Matrix" then you can keep track of your case.
If s/he refuses, then you have no way how to check your case status even if you know the case#.
I'm sorry for the bad news Remember, this is your employer's case, not yours.
