How to check for name clearnace using Service center

I called National center at 1-800-375-5283 .
But i could never get to a person .
Also , in the automated system when i enter SRC# , it says there is a system error and asked me to try again later.

You can ask your district senator/congressman to help. There is no way to use service center to check.
