How to change interview date!

Dear house, our interview is on jan 25 and there is national strike, is it good to change our interview date, hope it 'll not lead to visa refusal? If we can change it then pls how and where do we notify the embassy in order to change it for us in nigeria? Thanks.
 
Send email to your country's US embassy and explain your plight, meanwhile you can suggest your best available period.
 
Prepond an interview date!!!

Is there anyway we can pre-pond the visa interview date rather than postponing it? your response is always appreciated!!!

Interview Change

@Makforex: How did it go with your interview or interview change? I understood your concern regarding how a change of interview might affect things. The bottom of my interview letter indicates same things as yours...but I think that the worst that can happen would be to delay your processing...

Mine says:
YOU MUST APPEAR FOR THIS INTERVIEW - If you are unable to appear for your interview you must state your reason for your request to reschedule, submit supporting evidence of such request.... Please be advised that rescheduling will delay processing of an application/petition, and may require some steps to be repeated. It may ALSO AFFECT YOUR ELIGIBILITY for other immigration benefits while this application is pending...
