How to Change Consulate for CP?

Dear Friend

NVC assign case number starting with BMB, it means consulate at Bombay, but while my lawyer file I-824 he select TORONTO (as I have a Canadian PR). Now I don’t why NVC select Bombay?

I am still waiting for fee bill, how can I change to consulate in Canada for CP?

Should I wait till they send Packet -3, before changing consulate?

Wrong consulate

I have a similar situation. I had asked for Delhi on the I-130 for my parents. On the NVC AOS bill I notice they are assigned to Bombay. I called them and they asked to submit a request in writing which I plan to. I don't know if they actually do that or what is the experience of others. Delhi is only 3 hrs from where my parents live as opposed to Bombay is 24 hrs.
