I have two 485 applications pending
1) I485/I140 thru my employer and this case is represented by an attorney.
2) I485/I30 as a spouse of USC and I self filed this case. NO attorney representation.
Now, I have the interview next week for my I485/I30 case. It seems common practice that the IO asks to withdraw the I485/I140 case before he can approve the GC. So my question is
1) My I485/I140 case moved from LIN, Nebraska to local field office. Can I withdraw the I485/I140 case at the local field office or does my lawyer need to do it?
2) If it is the lawyer, how do I change the representation to myself so that I can withdraw it after my interview? I want to minimize any delays in the process as we have a vacation planned 3 weeks after my interview.
