How to Call USCIS for my AP status

Hello Friends,


Please let me know the process to call USCIS for my AP status as it has been pending for almost 5 months since august,My AP received date is Aug 10th ,it is at Nebraska service center

I know the number 1-800-xxx-xxxx,but I could not catch the person

what choices I should select to actually talk to anybody there?

Please post if somebody knows the procedure
