Hi,

I got EAD ,my H1 expires in March 2005. Is that possible to bring my parents after my H1 expires using EAD.

Thanks in advance
Vanitha

EAD is an employment document, not a visa. So, you cannot bring your parents with your EAD. Even with your H-1, you cannot bring your parents. H-4 is limited to spouse and unmarried children of H-1 holder.

Your parents have to get visas, like B-2, for themselves.

Can you apply for the 7th year extension?? If yes then you don't have to use EAD. The moment you use EAD you will not be able to go back to H1.

I think the only issue is showing your ability to support them while they are visiting. For that purpose, EAD should do as well as H1.

I had got my Parents on Visitor's Visa last year, when I was working on EAD.
I think, I had sent Copy of my 485 Receipt Notice, alongwith Copy of the EAD Card for their Consulate interview.
