Hi,
I got married after filing for I-485. Now that my husband has filed for his I-485 and he is not from a retrogression country, how can I apply for the cross-chargeability since I was born from one of the retrogression country?
My lawyer says that there's really no form to file for cross-chargeablity, and she just submitted a letter with some supporting documents requesting so a couple weeks ago. She also stated that there's really no way of telling if USCIS has received the letter and approved for the cross-chargeability application... is that true? Any ideas?
