How to apply Advance Parole?

I would like to apply the AP for my wife and my son. Please post your suggestions for the followings.

What are all the documents required for applying an AP?.
Check to be written in favor of BCIS or INS.
Any letter to be attached to the documents.
Can I apply directly or through attorney?.

Apply for I-131

Yo, you need to file for I-131 for your spouse and child. I would strongly recommend that your lawyer should be consulted on this. If you have filed for I-485, then your AP and EAD should be in your grasp within 90 days.

Apply for the AP yourself. It's very easy, will save you some $$ and you're in control. I guess you could make the check payable to INS-VSC but check the INS/BCIS web site for details.
