How to address yourself in cover letter?

I plan to do self petition.
From some samples filed by attorney, they addressed the applicant in this way:
"This letter is to support Dr. A Smith\'s (hereafter Applicant) application for ...."
For self petition, can we use this kind of personal pronoun? Or we just simply put it as "I", "Myself".
When you use "Applicant" to list your achievement, it sounds more objective.
Can somebody with successful self petition experience give me a hint?

Thanks,

addressing yourself in self-petition

In my self-petitioned EB1-EA petition, I addressed myself as Dr. [lastname] throughout the letter, just like a third person (an attorney) would have done. At the end of the letter, I signed my own name. If you had an attorney, he/she would sign his/her own name here.

The case was filed at TSC in Sept 2001, approved in April 2002.

you can write:

This to file file an I-140 petition for an immigrant worker on behalf of myself under the category of 203(B)(1)(A) [or 203 (B)(2) and request for National Interest Waiver].

No Title

What I have done is:

"This letter in connection with Form I-140 petition is to classify my self, Mr. XXX YYY, as an alien of exceptional ability in the field of ZZZ. Mr. XXX YYY seeks exemption from the requirement of a job offer in the national interest pursant to section 203(B)(2)of the Immigration and naturalization act."

And in the rest of the cover letter, I always used Mr. XXX YYY or Mr. YYY address myself.
