Hi,

Our EADs expire on Feb 20, 2005, is it ok to file renewal now? 'coz we'll be moving during Jan '05, so I want to get it over with. Also, will CIS renew from Feb 2005 onwards or will there be any overlap? Please advice.

Thanks,

Rosaly

you can wait if you doing it from VSC, the current processing times are almost current.

I am not sure about the overlap, anyone.

hi,
It is 100% safe to file 6 months in advance. DOnt delay

It is safe to apply 6 months in advance. true... But, if you have concerns of losing timeperiod from EAD (they dont issue back-to-back EADs), then apply 100 days in advance of the expiry date.

The start date of the EAD varies.

I just received my 3rd EAD and it's start date is the day after the expiration of my current one. (12/16/04).

However, the start date on my 2nd EAD was the date of approval.

So it seems to be simply luck. :-)

Regards

Rav

PS. Efiled and was approved in 2 business days after finger print and picture was taken at the support center.
