My H1B visa expires in Feb 10, 2008.
I have just received a job offer and they are going to sponsor me for a greencard. The only catch is that they want to see my performance in the first six months and will start the greencard process in Nov 2006.
If I start the process in Nov 2006, does this give us enough time to file our PERM application by Feb 10, 2008. Are 3 months enough to finish everything from advertising to form filling etc. On average, how long does it take to prepare the case?
It is my understanding that if we file before Feb 2007, then I can get extensions on H1B visa.
