How soon did you get a receipt notice?

Hi. I have submitted my NIW (140) to vermont about a month ago, but I haven't got any response from them. They haven't cashed my check either.
Any input is highly appreciated !
 
You should check with them

I sent out my application to Vemont in this June. the check was cashed out in 3 days, and I received the notice in a week.

Did you use any courier mail (Fedex etc.)? I would have a delivery confirmation first, then try to contact Service center.

When I first filed I-485, I sent my package to Chicago, which I should send to NSC. I had been waiting for receipt notice for two weeks, none of my checks been cashed, just like you. After about a month, Chicago office returned the whole package to me including all the checks and a note saying I should file to NSC.

If your checks had not been cashed, I guess vermont office didn't accept your case yet. Is it possible you might make some mistakes?

I called my lawyer today and he said he sent it via certified mail. He does not seem to be concerned about it much, but I am a little bit worried.

I hope I can hear from INS in very near future...

In my case, it took about a month to get receipt notices from VSC, so take it easy!
