How should I answer at POE ( for new Job)

Hello Gurus,
I have EAd and AP, I resigned my job from my sponsering employer during 3rd week of september( after 180 days passed). I got a new offer and my expected Joining date is Oct 3rd week. Mean time I have the employment letter, EAD . I-485 receipt, offer letter from new company and I am travelling to India for a short visit. When I come back to US using AP, what/How should I answer if Immigration officer asks which company you work for?

please let me know asap. I really appreciate your time.

The immigration officer should not ask you anything about your employment.
You don't even need to carry your EAD card with you.

However, for any wierd reason, if he does asks (which he shouldn't) you should tell the truth and show your new employment letter.
