During my finger printing process, I was told that my Social Security Number, automatically pulled from computer, is incorrect. A data entry problem. I plan to talk to my lawyer to make BCBI correct it.

But anyone can tell me whether this will slow down my GC approval? How serious is the problem?

Thanks!

I assume it's just data entry problem. It might not create any problem since BCIS goes by Alien number. Anyway it would be better to follow up on this issue with your attorney.

Definetely it should be a data entry problem. Make a followup thro your attorney. You would have recieved copies of I-485 and other application forms from your attorney for signature, once again verify these application forms. Hope it is not a typo error at your attorneys office.
Do not worry much, it will be solved. Good luck
