If you recieved FP notice and for some reason unable to do fingerprinting on the scheduled date, could you reschadule it ?

What if I am travelling and I recieved FP notice during my absence and FP date is expired ? what happens ? can you go with expired notice and et finerprinted ?

You get about a month\'s notice. If you can\'t have someone check your mail, keep in touch with your lawyer, he too gets a notice. If you can\'t keep the appointment, have your lawyer or friend contact INS for rescheduling, the contact info is on the fp notice.

How about leaving your fingers and thumbs home :)

Can my friend reschadule FP date on my behalf ?

Can I do FP myself and reschadule it for my dependents since they will be out of country for two months ?
 
You can reschedule the FP for dependents. One of my friend postpone his wife FP for 4 months.

I don\'t see any signature being required in the bottom part of FP (Vermont) notice which is used for rescheduling.

Dependent\'s 485 case is treated separate for processing, they too get individual fp notice and there is no requirement that all must do it on the same day.

Not too sure about forwarding of INS mail.
