I'm new to the notion of consider using AC21 and need some guidance.
I recently found that my case is stuck at the much dreaded name check. My spouse has already started pursuing her career (using EAD) in another city. Earlier I was hoping my case would get approved soon (since my PD and processing dates are current) and I'd change job after 5-6 months to move to city where my spouse is working. But now since I know I'm stuck in NC, the GC approval might take 2-4 years.
Questions:
1) Is it safe to use AC21 (I know job requirements should be same). So what if my labor approval job requirement says 'uses Graduate level research while solving mathematical and anlytical problems in software. May manage 2 other employees' and I move to a job titled 'Software consultant 1'. The work actually is only a little bit different. Is AC21 gonna be OK?
2) I know I'll need a copy of my lc, 140 approval and 485 receipt notice before leaving my current employer. Is this all or I'm missing anything.
Please note - my spouse's career is totally dependent on EAD which she got from my 485 filing. I'd not do anything to jeopardize her career.
