I am thinking of changing jobs after my 180 days is over in Feb, 08. My current job title is clinical research coordinator and new job title is clinical manager, clinical operations. Job description is quite similar except more managing tasks in new job. Both of them are in the same clinical trials category. I will use EAD, and my lawyer said if letter from new employer is sufficient to do AC21 portability it is 250 only. If uscis needs more explanation, she will charge 250 per hour.
My question is what are the sequences for AC21 application, I apply before change jobs or after change and how long would it take. How risky it is?
