How recent should the sponsor's or applicant's documents be...

I want to invite my parents on visitor visa. I prepared some documents 1-2 months ago and didn't schedule a visa interview date yet. Now I'm planning to get an interview date. I was wondering if I need to resend all the documents to my parents again.

I know that recent documents are required but was not sure what is the official definition of "recent"?

Is it ok if some documents (e.g. bank letter, affidavit) are from old date (1-2 months back) and some documents (e.g. paystub copy) are from a later date e.g. 2 weeks old.

I think one or two month old bank statements should not be a problem. Make sure you attach latest pay stubs.

Again at the end it depends on the immigration officer; and at times they surprise you i.e. no guarantees...only good hopes.

All the best.

Please share more experiences on the validity of the documents. I think first I should get a interview date and then send required documents.
