Please search this forum before creating a new thread. Here are plenty of topics about FBI name checks. Read FAQ, go to http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?p=951223#post951223 , etc. This question have been answered dozens of times.

do a search and find out FBI number and call them. They will verify (FP only) it for you .

Make sure ask them which service center did they forward your FP results. If you dont stay under VSC juristriction, then FBI will not directly forward your results to VSC...
