How much time to respond to an RFE ..

(No, I have not rcvd an RFE)

In an unfriendly situation, say someone looses his job and 2 weeks later he gets and RFE for EVL/paystubs, etc ..

Can he delay responding to this RFE for 2 months untils he gets a new job and he can get new paystubs (bi monthly if possible ??)

Or what is the time limit to respond to the RFEs, if there is one ..

I got RFE when my 140 was processed, lawyer said we have 90 days to respond...don't know about 485, I guess, the same timeframe.

Usually CIS gives us 90 days for us to respond to RFE and 30 days to NOID.
