I am filing 485 next month through my company lawyer. But I will be filing for my wife's EAD and APs for both of us myself (lawyer is charging exorbitant fees) after I get the 485 receipt. I have couple of questions:
1. Is it okay to file EAD and AP myself for the first time or should I let the lawyer file it? I have read in these forums that people file them by themselves all the time.
