How much time after responding to RFE?

Hello fellow GC waiters,

How much time do you guys think it takes for the INS to approve after responding to RFE?

I replied for the RFE by 15th August and INS received it on August 20th and I have not received any feedback yet. Just waiting to hear from them.
 
Me too. My RFE response was received on aug 15th. and no approval yet. My RD is 6/1.

RFE:08/01/02
RFE RECEIVED BY INS:08/20/02
WAITING TO HEAR FROM INS SINCE REPLIED FOR RFE
TRIED TO REACH THE No.402-323-7830 too many times,
but just got frustrated with my attempts. I have no idea
what's going on!!!May god bless us!

Hi Kanaka,
For me also it happened like what is happening to you. Finally I got my approval on Oct 31. Try to contacat IIO, even if takes a little while ringing them. Coz at times Cases will be kept aside on delay in reassigning to Examiner. As for my case, my RFE response was received on SEP10. After calling for 2-3 times in almost 2 months on OCT 23, IIO told that my case was with an examiner, you may get your approval soon wait for 2 weeks. And I got my approval on Oct 31. What I think is you try to contact IIO this may make some momentum in your case.

Looks like my case and Kanaka's case are assigned to the same lazy officer who has been sleeping all time. I called sometime in Oct but the IIO gave her as usual reply ' the case is on the way to officer'. I will call this month some time end of this month again though it may not help. Kanaka, you too please try calling so that we can wake up those Kumbhakarnas.

Thanks for your inputs. But you know I am so frustrated
with this making calls to this center, I dont know I can never
reach these guys. I kept on trying and I did not have any
luck Also, the various postings that I read in this forum
regarding the same response they give to everyone like
on the way to officer, assigned to officer , pulled off of the
rack, so on.. does not encourage me either. I dont know what
to say, friends.
Also, like GIVEMEGCINS mentioned it might be lying on somebody's table unnoticed and just we will have to wait and see
How often do you guys try this number when you tried to reach
them and in how many attempts were you able to reach them?
Please let me know.
