How much time after 2nd FP

Finally we are seeing cases of approvals/RFE's for person's who did their 2nd FP in July. Cases of 2nd FP guys are getting touched. Someone has finally woken up in BCIS.
 
I gave my 2nd FP on 27th May 2003. I got my approval on Sep. 9 2003. It takes around 90 days for security and name check clearance.

I know for "Jaynew" also it took around 90 days after 2nd FP.

My colleague got approved 4 days[Yes 4days] after FP2.,
while I am waiting after 2mos..!
So there's no real pattern, it just depends on individual cases.

Your friends name might not have received any name check hit from their database.

If you have any RFE then it may take additional time. normally it takes 90 days for name check.
 
I agree with vijayrc. There is not real pattern for BCIS.

Local BCIS guys told me that name check takes between 2 days to 1 month normally.
 
FP Check is done by FBI almost on the sameday when they receive the FP's from local offices...
It's the Name Check[by BCIS which they introduced late last year] that's killing us...! Might be it's done Once in a month and thats why we see some getting approved faster and others taking much longer..!!

You want me to say that you will get your approval next day after 2nd FP?? Who got that theory?

Telling you it takes appro. 90 days for name check if your name hits their database.
