Am going to be applying real soon for my single-entry visit visa to Canada from India.. does anyone know how much money is 'proof of funds' sufficient to satisfy the visa consulate? Some say CAD 2500 in the bank is ok.. some say it should be 4000? I don't know. Am just goin for 10 days, to stay with my aunt - so lodging & food is taken care of.
