How much payment to be made?

Hello,
I saw on this site that people have made a payment of $400.00. How come the USCIS website instructions call out for $390? Which is correct? Has this been changed as well? Also, can you tell me if the following are all the documents required to file for citizenship:

N400 form
G-325A form
2 pics
1 check

I have been a greencard holder for 5 years (completing in march this year). Therefore, that is what I am filing under. I don't think there is anything else. DO you agree?

Please advice. Thanks.

It is from this document that I found the amount 390 from. I blv that this document can be obsolete for some sections. For example its photo section is also obsolete - the photo requirements have changed as well. This is why I am questioning everything now ...

So I still want to make sure if 400 bucks is correct and the items noted above are all the requirements for filing for citizenship

Thanks in advance :)

Sonu, as of today's date $400.00 is the correct fee for applications between the ages of 18 and 74. For applications 75 years of age and older it is $330.00

Make the check payablle to Department of Homeland Security and put you A# both on the front of the check on the Memo line and the back as well.

Make one check for $400.00.

The photos must be front facing passport photos. They must be color.

Hello,
N400Applier can you please direct me to some instructions that call out for 400 dollars not 390? SO that I could find out more details like who the check should be made to and where it should be send .

THanks,

G-325A is not required.

A copy of the green card (both sides), a $400 fee, and 2 photos with the name and the A-number written on the back are required for every applicant.

There are some other documents that you may be required to submit, depending on your individual circumstances (e.g. documentation related to arrests/convictions, child and spousal support, etc).

You should read the Document Checklist in the "Guide to Naturalization" for details:
