How much is this information really worth.
For a 22 day work month:
Most people on the forum are IT people charging more than $ 50/hr. Lets say each spends an hr/ day on the forum >>> $ 1100.
Cost of filing 485/ead/ap: $ 1-2000 (lawyer fees included)
Cost of renewals: $ 1000 x 2 or 3 for most of us.
Getting a lawyer to fight for the backlogs:$ 1000s. (Attorney Rajiv khanna is doing a big favor to us by not charging)
Getting real life experiences for:
485 Interviews: PRICELESS
485 RFEs: PRICELESS
Efile or not: PRICELESS
Real processing dates: PRICELESS
Putting our lives on hold for years: REALLY PRICELESS
One can easily see that we really cannot put a price to the information we get on this forum.
This includes me, you and even the unregistered people who drop in ocassionally/regularly to gather information for their situation.
Lets say we cannot spare the $ 100-150 that most people are contributing in one go.
How about putting in $ 25-50/ initially and then per month. That translates to $ 1.13- $ 2.27 per day. This is less than the price of coffee at even a fast food shop.
When everyone contributes, everyone wins. We cannot really depend on a few people and sit back and enjoy the fruits of their labor when they come in.
Folks....please contribute based on what you can spare. The amounts are not going to be made public, so no one will be embarassed.
