How much cash during activation trip

I am not an Arabian prince who carries a silver suitcase with 1 million $ in it, yet how much money one can carry freely - I am referring to the Point of Entry and activation trip, am I safe on the USA border point with the money in my shabby immigrant bag? Do they ask questions such as where all the money came from, where is the bank statement etc. ?

I was surprised I got no answer to my own question to which I was able to find answer on another forum site. I assume all of you are clueless and frustrated jut like I was. So let me share:
The general domestic rule for the Balkans as to how much money I can carry is in the scope of work of the competent Ministry of Finance, and the rule is: 15000 EUR per one person. This is the domestic rule However, if you have more money on you, you will get one form to fill in in the airplane (it instructs you report if you have over 10000$ and you need to mark "YES" in section/question No.13 of this form) and then fill in another form on the land. You are OK with as much cash as you want in your bag, as long as you inform about it in these two forms.
