How much can "request for additional information" delay the process?

Hello all,

I filed for my green card through marriage on 25th of March. On around the 20th of May I received a notice to submit an additional tax document, which I did the next day and they received it on the 24th of May. After that they released my work permit and I received it a few days later, but haven't heard anything in regards with my I-485 status. It's stuck at "request for evidence response review". I understand I should receive a letter for an interview, but nothing yet. Is this normal or should I be alarmed? I was thinking of making an info-pass appointment just in case.

The interview is usually 4-6 months after filing the I-485. You're not even at 3 months yet.

Thanks Jack. Understood, I just saw a lot of March filers having their interview scheduled at less than 3 months after having filed, so I just assumed that I could have had mine scheduled at around the same time if I hadn't had the request for additional info.
