Gentleman,
Today I mailed my third renew applications for AP and EAD for me and my family. Here are the totals:
3 x I 131: $ 330.00
2 x I 765: $ 240,00
5 Sets of Photos: 50.00
Lawer fees: $ 250,00
Fedex, stamps, etc: $ 10.00.
Grand total: $ 880.00.
This is the BCIS wait to contribute for the economy improvement. If we consider that the average GC applicant spend about $ 400.00 each year in these renews and suppose about 4 renews and about per applicant it and about 1,000,000 of pending aplicants in this situation it will be about $ 1,600,000,000.00 to Uncle Sam pockets per year that otherwise would not be collected.
It may be this is the real reason behind the delays. This is a nice business to get paid for not doing what it is supposed to be done. Do not approve the I 485 and get paid for it.
Also I was looking at my documents today and an intersting question came to my mind to explain the radomness in the approvals. We know that it has nothing to do with RD, also nothing to do with PD or anything else we think about. However I do not beleive that there is not a pattern, it has to be one. Therefore I question: Did anybody think about A numbers? I do not recall seen this question before in the forum.
Or it may be that the same way we have the GC lottery they would have a processing lottery. Who knows?
Regards,
JLSBR
