how many receive employment RFE

I am wondering what percentage of applicants receive RFE for employment letter before I485 approval, given that we have already provided one when filed. Is it not relevant to deciding whether or not pro-actively inform USCIS abut job change?

I think it depends on the adjudicator......
If he is a screwy guy...he may issue an RFE....

Bottomline, there is no reason for them to issue the RFE for EVL (Employment Verification letter).....The only reason they issue it - there is too much itch up the adjudicator's AS*....

But, yep, bunch of address changes may the only clue.....for adjudicator....other than that - he really has no info (or may be H1B transfers - if he bothers to look deep enough) at his disposal to make the judgement call on issuing RFE....

Or it may be like....too many years...in adjudication....may be one reason....

All vailid points:D But I am looking for exceptions. One of my colleague received EVL while another didn't. Both had more or less same time frame of filing and did not change their job.

banta4gc! is right about the address change.

I changed the address and informed the USCIS about the same. I work for a desi company and I changed clients so I had to move to different places. And at the end I got an RFE. People from my company who did not change the address got their approval in last december.

May be this is my observation.
