how many LUDs will happen after status inquiry?

Hello,

I called CIS and initiated a status inquiry about my 485. There has been no LUDs so far. Usually how many LUDs (if any) will happen after a status inquiry? Does inquiry help to speed up the process?

I have made multiple inquiries and the LUD never changed. The message changed after the first inquriy only but has not changed since then.
My experience is that the inquiry does not change anything. In the last letter I got from USCIC I was told to stop bothering them (said in a nicer way), if there were any development on my case they would contact me.
 
I made an inquiry but there has been LUD after the enquiry so far. My LUD was on April 27, 2006. No update after that.
