How many July\'00 and Aug\'00 ND still waiting?

My details: RD July 06,00; ND July 27,00....still waiting......
case assigned to an examiner for review sometimes around 09/27......
still no answer, neither approval nor RFE......what do you guys suggest.....are there other July and August 00 ND who are still waiting or I am the only one......

MY rec. DT 08/00 and ND 08/00. Case assigned 0n Nov 2nd . No response till now.

I check AVM once a week these days. I am totally frustrated with the INS processing delays(if that is what it is).

Frustrating situation

RD & ND in Aug00. LIN xx-244-xxxx, FP done in 03/01. Waiting for approval. I still do not understand, how our cases are not yet taken and NSC is approving Oct & Nov cases.

Do all of us have beard? Maybe they are doing extensive background check for bearded guys. Just kidding.

They are planning to call again on 11/26/2001

Approved after 450 days EB2/India

Wowww... what a feeling at least for the first 5 minutes!!!

Called NSC this morning, got the line after 50 minutes,
on hold for 15 minutes, and the IIO(he) told that our
cases were approved on 11/19/2001(yesterday). He also
verified our address and said we should receive the
approvals by mail early next week.

FYI... My wife from home conferenced me at work.

My GC application details:
Initial PD in CSC : 30-MAY-1997
Waited for 1.5 years and
case was pending (NON-RIR)

Applied again in RIR with
(CSC) PD : 20-NOV-1998

I-140 in CSC (took 13 months)
I-485 applied in NSC as I worked
in Chicago and thought NSC is
faster than CSC

Company was acquired by another and name change,
so did I-140 amendment at CSC
EAD renewed and working with 2nd EAD
Talked to IIOs several times(4 or 5 times)
Send "Additional documents to NSC" with new I-140
Our Attorney called NSC on 23-OCT-2001
and NSC promised to pull our cases and decide in 30 days.

Today, according to IIO, it was approved on 19-NOV-2001
AVM changed today with good new(NOT yesterday)
 
Seek for help on pending I-485 app

Hi,

Hope some of you could shed some light on my situation:

My ex-wife and I filed I-485 together last August. Shortly
after that, she decided to end the marriage and left the country.
I finally got the divorce done in this February. She didn\'t get
fingerprint done.

I sent divorce decree with yellow form back in April. It looks like
my case is still pending. I called IIO several times and always got
the same answer "your case will be assigned in next 30-45 days" which
never came true.

I\'m really frustrated plus the change in personal life. Please let
me know if you have any idea.

Why don\'t you ask your attorney to enquire about your pending case?They have a special number to call NSC and it should help you.
Guess, it has good effect. Hopefully everything will be alright soon in your GC process and life too.

7:10 AM We were in the \'Q\'
7:40 AM Inside INS Building (So 30 minutes in open air-38 degrees)
8:00 AM Security check
8:30 AM Waited(sat) in the waiting area
9:00 AM A lady(staff) called all I-485 Approvals for stamping
9:30 to 9:40 AM Stamping complete for both of us.

Gave I-485 Approval, 2 EADs, AP, I-94 and finger print was taken
with signature. She told that it will take a year for receiving the card.
So totally, 2.5 hrs deal. Because it was Wednesday(middle of the week),
it was not crowded.

Information:
EB2/India/RIR/NO RFE/Chicago/EAD renewed/
Until I-140 CSC & I485 in NSC.
Company name change, so I-140 Amended in CSC
11/20/1998 - PD
08/28/2000 - RD (I-485)

Parasite, I am also EB1....it seems that it takes longer for EB1 than it does for EB2/EB3.....do you also have the same feeling....
