How many days it takes.???

Had a RFE on my I-485 (birth certificate and passport copy) sent a reply to USCIS last week and they recieved it ( i came to know by tracking track no.) . They recieved on Wednesday. However there is no status update or email. nothing.. how many days it takes to get a recieved email status update.


any idea?

I too have responded to the RFE (Birth Certificate) and they have received it this morning(10/4/04), please keep in touch so as I may get an idea with regrds to approval time.

Hi Guys,

The reply of my RFE was received by USCIS 9/1/04(LUD changed). They issued me a FP2 for 9/17. I did early FP2 9/10/04. Since than nothing has changed.

I hope to get the approval soon.
Anybody guess when should i expect my approval??

What was your RFE about?

The usual rule of thumb seems to be 1-2 months after responding to the RFE.

Correct me guys if I am wrong.

It was about Medical, BC, 2 years of W-2, Emploment letter
 
Today my msg. and LUD changed at USCIS webpage saying they recieved my documents yesterday ( strange thing .. they recieved on Wednesday .. :mad: )...

and they are saying the following msg. ::

It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.


My question is ::: how many it takes to get decision after RFE nowadays.??/

I got an email informing me that they have received response for my RFE and the rest of the message is same as yours looks like we need to wait for a bit

I just checked my LUD and it has changed from 10/05/04 to 10/07/04, however the message remains the same,i.e. they are in receipt of my response dated 10/04/04.

Don't know if am close to adjudication but feel the file is somewhat moving and feeling a wee bit nervous too at the same time, LUD for my wife remains the same i.e 7/23/04 with regrds to receipt of finger prints.

Today is Thursday, Sai Baba's Day and hope we all get approved today or soon.

my LUD also changed today to 10/07/2004 and there is no change in messages.(my wife's LUD still same 08/23/2004)
