how many days for online FP update

I seem to have bad luck with BCIS, but it took over 3 months before the AVM was updated (FP sent to BCIS on 4/24/02). You can call the FBI hotline. They will only tell you whether or not the results were returned to BCIS and not if there were any issues.

My first FP never got updated but on

online or avm. called fbi number and it said it was ok. this time just a wishful thinking if they do automatically.
 
Same here.. One possible explanation (dont flame me for this) is that given the capricious wishes of congress and the quirky priorities they impose on the INS, the INS frequently runs out of funding for routine tasks and thus have not been diligent about having their databases updated with less significant information like status of FP etc. If they are able to pay for a run at a given point in time, well and good; If not, so be it, seems to be their IT philosophy. It would seem that they are relatively more diligent about updating the approval/RFE status.
