How many days does it take to update the FInger printing is done

How many days does it take to update the FInger printing is done. Do they update it online or do they notify us thru postal mail.

3-4 weeks

if all went well, in 3-4 weeks online status is updated.

If not, call FBI to see if they send it to the INS (they are usually pretty good and do it the same day, a few days longer for manual print)
Call the IIO to check if they received it if it takes longer than 1 month.
INSdoes not send out postal confirmation of FP received!
