How many days after RFE RD can you expect approvals from CSC?

485 RD in April 2002

Got RFE in June for Pay stubs, W2 for two years, employment verification letter, employers financials for three years etc.

Submitted RFE and RD is July 26th.

Still waiting for approval.

any idea how long it takes after RFE is received by the INS?

There is absolutely no set pattern, It all depends on the officer working on your case if (s)he is satisfied with all the documentations on your case then you might typically see things happening within 4 - 8 weeks time. But like I said there is absolutely no guarantee.

There have been several folks who had waited or still waiting for months after replying to RFE for approval and on the contrary there are others who have had luck on their side in getting approvals quite quickly after replying to RFE.

So you have wait fingers-crossed. One thing you can do after probably 3 - 4 weeks is to call the National Customer Service Phone Number (available on the case status website) and explain to them your case to see if they could help. Be prepared to stay on the phone for about an hour waiting for half-hour until someone talks to you.

How to findout that USCIS (or INS) has received the RFE reply..?
Lawyer has mailed the reply with overnight delivery on friday 08/06

waiting for the "response received" message. mailed my response on 08/02 via express mail.

How long does it take to change the status after they receive the mail?

my RFE response was received by CSC on May 6, not a word from them after that
 
RFE received

I posted my RFE response on July 21st.

INS received the RFE on July 26th. My fedex tracking says that the package was received on July 22nd.

The online status was updated only on July 28th night.
