How many 485 applications does VSC receive every month ?

From greaty-k\'s tracker I see atleast 100 every month, but since Dec 2001 the number has been tapering off. Not that every applicant registers his/her information in greaty-k\'s tracker. Any clue ?

Clue is:

Ecnomic downturn of 2001 caused lots of applicant abort their misson for Green card. There are lots of candidate lost their job during LC or I-140 stage and moreoever company hiring few foreign candidate. So overall picture is less applicant for I-485 during 2002. Make sense? I also predict, it will be very first processing for 2002 I-485 candiadte as few candidate. Comment please.

I had the same thoughts about it

If that\'s true, then 2002 cases approval (until April so far) should fly when they do start processing.

Thanks Suvarna Koppula!!! I have book marked the INS link you have given. It was showing a lot of denials. I have not seen any denials posted in any portal. Can somebody enlighten more on this.
