How lucky i would be?

Hi,
I am very confused of further processings. I dont know how is there porcedure in interview, i mean who they will choose and who they will refuse? Do you think that if the derivative applicants get higher then it would affect the chance of getting a visa? One question more that every year only 50000 visa are issued, in the current year approximately 94000 people has been selected, so what do you think that who will be disqualified if getting a visa and who will be awarded a visa. Does every derivative applicants included in these 50000 or only principle applicant is included?

Derivatives are included in the 50000.
A lot of those 94000 drop out of the process voluntarily - change their minds, decide proceeding is too expensive, etc - this is why they over-select.
Of those who are left, they are interviewed in case number order. It is very simple how they choose to disqualify: either an applicant meets the criteria (approved) or doesn't (denied). Once they reach 50k visas (actually it is usually around 53k, the technical legal limit is 55k) they stop issuing. They do spread interviews across the fiscal year so if the limit is hit it will be in September only.

Thanks for reply, i have also two questions more please.
1) do we have to show them an affidavite of bank? i mean do we have to show them that how much money we have got in our account or would it ok for them to show the documents of our property?
2) in my son's high school diploma, my name is miswritten with only one letter. What do you think is that a big problem, would they refuse that? If yes what should i do?
3) i studied an English course provided by the USA and i have got a certificate of that, should i include that in my ds 260 form in educational institute?
