How long you can do the passport stamp after you get GR Approval notice?

Hi!

I am in October filter (RD), called INS last week, was told that my case was still pending. I'm planning to fly aboard around Oct.24 - Nov.7. I don't know what to do if I got approval notice while still be out of the US.

Anyone has any suggestion?

That shouldn't be a problem. Carry ur AP while travelling if using EAD else H1B would suffice.
 
similiar situation

HI guys I am also a Nov filer Planning to go to India for 1 month. Will there be any issue while coming back If my 485 is approved. Some one told me once Ur 485 approved Ur AP is not valid.
Anybody face similiar situation.. Pls provide information

As detailed in other threads as well...

If ur case is approved while u r out of country, ur AP is still valid (that's the very purpose of AP).

I have travelled on AP while my 485 got approved in my absence.
