How long will it take to receive i-140 receipt

Can anyone share how long does it normally take to get an acknowledgement/receipt from BCIS, that they received the i-140 ?

Its been a couple of weeks that my application was sent. Just wanted to know if I should be concern and start reacting yet

Should be within a couple of weeks, but sometimes can take longer. Don't panic yet. Did you pay fees with a check? If so, has the check cleared your bank? If it has and you can see the back of it (electronically or physically), there is a receipt number printed on there. That's your I-140 receipt number. Go to https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp and follow directions for "Finding the Status of Your Case".
