how long will it take to get Receipt notices at VSC?

Hi Folks:

I filed for I-131 (first time) on 1st August on my own using my I-485 receipt notice and other supporting documents. It has reached the Vermont office (VSC) on August 1st as per the Postal tracking number.

upon on reading some threads here i noticed that , it usually take a week to actually get receipt notices for EAD or I-131 if you are filing only one application!!

Question is,

Did any body received receipt notices OR checks have been cleared who are in same timeframe as mine (1st august) ?

Please advise and post your case details ...

HI..

I would wait for another month. Mean while keep checking mail box and call yours attorney about receipts.

I did my own EAD and AP, second time. First time lawyer did it. I got my cards for EAD and AP in a week or so after filing. After about couple of months I got the receipts

I filed my EAD renewel on July'28 (close to your date). Here is the story how it progressed :
7/28 : Posted (certified mail)
8/7 : Check cleared at my Bank
8/8 : Received the Receipt Notice (with RD of 7/30)

So don't panic. Normally it takes upto 3 weeks for receipts. Start panicking if you don't get it in 3 weeks.
