How long will it take for EAD in NSC

Hey,
My current EAD will expire on Dec. 26, 2002. NSC received my EAD renewal application on Oct. 2(RD). I'd like to know if anyone knows how long it usually takes NSC to approve EAD. I'd also like to know if I can go to local INS to get an interim EAD.

EAD timeline in CSC

Receipt said it took 120-140 days for EAD in CSC. Most of the recent EAD approval in CSC took about 3 months. Hope CSC INS keeps up.

One can go to local INS office for interim EAD only if one has the EAD receipt from INS and the case is 3 months past with INS.
