How long will case be assigned to officer after FBI check is received

Per IIO, our FBI check was received on Jan.5, but has not been asigned to officer. IIO said we can\'t do nothing but wait. Does any one have such experience? Why it takes so long? (RD:05/16,ND:07/16,FP:10/23) AVM is Dec.29 message.
