Hello Friends,
I need your help, on 08/23/2012 I did fingerprints.
I'm from Atlanta
Two months on and I do not get an interview date.
How long should I wait? And how long before the interview they tell me?
Thank you friends

I think I've answered you before. Atlanta is slow. I'm 91 days in line for interview and still waiting. My status changed to in line, 2 business days after fingerprinting. Not sure why your status hasn't changed to in line yet - have you called USCIS to try to find out?

Atlanta is averaging 5.2 months total processing time, so you're probably in for a good long wait.

Atlanta just like any other big cities (i.e. chicago) are usually very slow. I had to wait nearly three months for the interview to be scheduled and another month for the actual thing. Unfortunately the only option you have is to be patient at this time. I'm still waiting for oath (hopefully middle of next month). Thus my case would have been seven months total. As you can see you are not alone. Best of luck.

Average processing time, from start to finish (priority date to oath date) is 5.2 months. National goal is 5 months, current national average as of August 31st is 5.1 months. If you filed in August, it can take until January. Some people take longer if their case is complicated, or if the district office is slow/busy (like Atlanta).

rjackal you're right. I'm at 4 months since I filed, 3 months in line for interview. Most of the ones that go quickly, have a military affiliation (married to a member of the military, etc.) but yes, there are people from May still waiting for interview. It's a little bit excruciating to have to wait and wait... but that's what we've got.
