How long to wait after ad?

Hi All,

We recently published ad for my labor in paper and online. The ad was run for two sundays in paper and 14 days online. How long do I have to wait before we can file RIR labor application? My company did not do any other advt in the past.

RIR requires total 6 months of recruiting efforts..

It should be documented recruiting effort - not very restrictive in nature and justifiable to the job position.

It's not "FOR" six month but "WITHIN" last six month.

How many ads, where to post them; that all depends upon SESA/DOL you are planning to start the process. Usually posting 3 to 4 ads within 2 months in a leading newspaper in the area is fine. Also try to post the opening at "America Job bank", site operated by DOL.

Check with the attorney representing you/employer. You might also want to check the thread in the forum for the SESA/DOL you are planning to file.
