How long to stay with the current company after getting GC with CP?

There is 180 day rule in I-485 which starts from filing of I-485. Can it be applied to CP as well? Are we safe to change jobs 6 months after filing CP? Or anytime after getting GC? Or 6 months after getting GC?

Even though it\'s ridiculous there is a double standard, if you go through I485 you can change after 180 days, if you go through CP you have to wait... the usual concensus is 12 months with the sponsoring company although some lawyers say 6 months is sufficient. At the end of the day that would be up to a judge or an immigration officer to decide.
