How long to reveice notification

I sent my app a week ago, the check has not cleared yet. I started worrying.
How long it does to clear the check from Vermont, and to receive notification letter?
I live in nothern Virginia.

My app was received at VSC on July 11th and the check was cleared on July 18th.

Haven't received the receipt yet.
