How long to receive EAD after fingerprinting/biometrics?

It looks like my EAD was approved (applied in September 2004) and I recently completed my fingerprinting/biometrics requirements on December 9th.

Anybody have any clue how long it will be until I receive my EAD???? It's extremely important since I'm thinking of switching companies.

I'm based out of NY so I'm guessing it's being processed in Vermont?!??

The lady at the ASC told me it would be a few weeks.
 
If you were approved in September you should have the card already. Inquire to find out where it is.

The notice date on the I797 Notice of Action for my I-765 Employment Authorization is October 27th. So does that mean it should have been here by December 27th? I'll call them tomorrow.

Can I request a temporary EAD until the permanent one arrives? I need one ASAP. Getting an offer from a company in a few days that I need to jump on
